tsubai
tsubai is the ambient music project of Sydney-based musician Matt Teffer. Best known for his indie rock and shoegaze work as Stubai, his debut album ‘We Were Here’ revealed a gift for richly textured songwriting and nostalgic atmosphere. With tsubai, he turns that sensibility towards immersive, emotive ambient drone compositions, using layered electric guitar to create shifting soundscapes inspired by the natural world and memory.
